Eugene L. Tagle
Eugene Tagle’s passion for advocacy began as a teenager when he served as both an attorney and witness on his state finalist high school mock trial team. He furthered this passion in law school at the University of Minnesota by representing his fellow students on multiple student government organizations, serving as an attorney on the ACTL trial competition team, and working with the domestic assault prosecution division of the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office.
Eugene believes every client deserves not only excellent legal representation, but also respect and compassion. In his legal career, he has proudly represented individuals nationwide in matters ranging in size from justice of the peace disputes under ten thousand dollars to multi-million-dollar wrongful death cases. His wide breadth of legal experience also includes commercial litigation, premises liability, products liability, auto/trucking collisions, and medical malpractice.
At Martin Baughman, Eugene focuses his practice on pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer product litigation. With over twenty combined years of speaking experience as a trial attorney, teacher, and broadcast journalist, Eugene is comfortable in any post-pandemic litigation environment.
Outside the office, Eugene volunteers as a judge with the same Texas High School Mock Trial program that sparked his passion for the law decades ago. He also enjoys traveling, skiing, ice hockey, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
